Guthrie is a really interesting building a bit deeper in East Austin. This specific area is more relaxed and residential than the rest of East Austin, but it's still close enough to the core to be relevant. The neighborhood has it's own uniquely cool vibe which I like. The building itself is awesome. Amazing gym and amenities. The pool area and courtyard is super nice, and the unit interiors are very high quality. It won't have the same walkability as a place like Arnold or Eastside Station, but it's usually worth checking out. One downside is that there is a nearby homeless encampment under the East 7th bridge a few blocks away, but there's enough distance between the building and underpass.
